Grinding
GRIND AS YOU GO!
Never grind more coffee than you need for immediate brewing. Once the beans are ground, the flavorful oils are exposed to air. As these oils dissipate, so will the flavor of your coffee.

DRIP BREWING
Like granulated sugar. The average drip cycle takes four to six minutes. If your drip cycle takes less time, grind your coffee finer. If the cycle takes longer than six minutes, grind your coffee coarser.

FRENCH PRESS
Extremely coarse. How you grind influences what you taste. Medium Grind – requires longer water/coffee contact but produces the richest coffee. Don’t use too fine of a grind, or you won’t be able to press the plunger down and too much sediment will be created.
ESPRESSO
Extremely fine. An ounce of espresso should be extracted in 25 to 30 seconds. If extraction occurs in less time, grind your coffee finer. If extraction takes longer, grind your coffee coarser.
